Diet Diary

 

Why use a diet diary?

Tracking your diet using a simple diet diary can help you and your chiropractor determine your best path for nutritional advancement and optimal health.  Your chiropractor will review your findings and advise you to avoid certain foods that you may have subtle allergies or sensitivities to that may interfere with your well-being.  They will also advise you on food combining techniques that will aid in digestion, assimilation, and absorption of nutrients. 

 

How to use the diet diary?

We often go throughout our day eating meals, snacking and drinking beverages so quickly or unconsciously that we are unaware of what we actually consumed. .  This diet diary can help you specifically track what you consume throughout your day in the detail that will best allow you and your chiropractor to get a true glimpse into your nutritional health.  Be sure to write down EVERYTHING:

- Beverages

- Small portions (a taste) of foods

- Condiments

- Home-made or restaurant made

- Dressings

- Snacks

- Food type (example: milk … 1%?, organic?, etc)
