Life Empowerment's Root Cleanse!

Feel that nip in the air.  Fall is here, along with chilly weather on the football field, and those awesome Fall blooms that aggravate our allergies!  That means it’s time for a ROOT CLEANSE to boost your immune system! 

Did you ever wonder why so many people catch “colds” and express “allergies” during the change of the seasons?  Well, when that change of temperature, climate, humidity and pressure occurs in our environment it also occurs in our bodies. This change leads to chemical, physical, and & emotional changes that obviously effect our life.  These changes are stressful to the body and lower our immune system’s resistance as well.  BUT there is an easy fix to the change of season colds, allergies, and other stresses…. A CLEANSE.  There are many different kinds of cleanses that you may choose to do different times of the year but this time of the year the best cleanse to do is LEWC's AMAZING ROOT CLEANSE.  It’s incredibly simple, cost effective, and amazingly powerful. 

The cleanse is eating certain fruits and vegetables for ONLY for 3-7 days.  For you champion types please feel free to cleanse for up to 30 days.

Eat Roots (Below Ground) before Noon  

  • Carrots, Beets, Turnips, Sweet Potatoes, Radishes, Parsnips, Yucca (cassava), Malanga, Potatoes, etc.

  • Yucca (cassava) and Malanga are 2 extraordinary roots with great taste and easy preparation. 

  •  Malanga makes a great “oat meal” like dish.  Just peal the malanga with a vegetable peeler, cut it into 2-3” chunks, boil it until soft like a potato, drain the water, mash like a big potato, place in a bowl, add some soy milk and Herbamare or seasoning and you have a healthy, warm, delicious breakfast to start off your day. 

  • Yucca is made the same way except you do not mash it, you cut it up like large French fries to boil it and then you serve with olive oil and light Herbamare or seasoning.


Eat Vegetables, Squashes & Specific Fruits (Above Ground) After Noon

  • Fall Squashes: pumpkin, acorn squash, spaghetti squash, etc.  Squash are amazing and full of powerful minerals and vitamins.

  • Vegetables: any and all in abundance.

  • Specific Fruits: (organic please): apples, pears, pineapple, papaya, young coconut (ask your grocer for the sweet papaya not the candied papaya).  


I know what you COFFEE & SODA drinkers are saying….”does that mean fruit and coffee?”… NO! 

If you are a coffee drinker there are 2 ways to go about it:

  • Accept the discomfort or headaches that may occur with no coffee/soda as your body DETOXES out those terrible chemicals. 


  • Take a cup of coffee/soda in the morning and put it in the refrigerator with a tea spoon in it. On the first day take a teaspoon of coffee every 2 hours throughout the first day… every 3-4 hours the next and every 5-6 the next.  In just a few days you’ll be coffee free.
